Director & Founder

Abigail Jones is an entrepreneur who established You Solved to fill the widening Austrlaian skills gap. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, her business and consultancy career spans 20 years.

Starting her career in London in the early 2000’s Abigail ran Electric House, a private member’s club and part of the exclusive Soho House Group. A migrant herself, Abigail moved her life to Australia in 2005 and commenced a five year stint at the Shangri-La Hotel, finishing as Director of Food & Beverage in 2010. From 2011 to 2018 Abigail owned and ran her own multi-million dollar hospitality businesses, including restaurants, catering contract business and a consultancy. In 2019, as Director of Food & Beverage at Pan Pacific Perth Abigail brought Peruvian cuisine to Perth, successfully partnering Pan Pacific with acclaimed chef Alejandro Saravia.

Back in NSW, during her time as Group Food & Beverage Director for Doylo Lifestyle Group the scale of the hospitality skills crisis grew and You Solved was born.

Abigail decided to build what she wished she had access to. A recruitment agency that could actually find skilled workers.

But not just any recruitment agency because the workers she wanted to access weren’t already in Australia. She wanted to access an international workforce which meant a recruitment agency that also handled migration. You Solved was born in a moment, out of a deep sense of frustration but also a purpose to solve the skills gap. Abigail retrained as a Registered Migration Agent and specialises in employer sponsored visas.

Lisa Wilson

Lisa Wilson brings a range of experience in HR recruitment, onboarding, compliance, office management, and business administration skills across multiple industries. She holds formal qualifications in Human Resources Management, Leadership Management, and Business Administration, equipping her with the expertise to excel in dynamic recruitment environments.

As an International Recruitment expert at You Solved Lisa plays a vital role in sourcing top talent across various industries, managing end-to-end recruitment processes and building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Lisa is deeply passionate about helping individuals secure meaningful employment opportunities and guiding them toward success. Having come from a family that migrated from Europe, she understands firsthand the life-changing impact of relocating to Australia. This personal connection fuels her dedication to supporting motivated candidates as they navigate their own migration and career journeys.

Lisa thrives on the challenges of international recruitment, enjoying the opportunity to interview candidates from around the world and match them with roles that align with their skills and career aspirations. With exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, Lisa is an asset in the You Solved recruitment team.

Outside of work, she loves spending her time at the beach and watching her three children at their sporting games.

Outside of work, Flynn is an avid soccer enthusiast and enjoys exploring new destinations through travel. His diverse interests and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to the You Solved team.
